Console

The console is your primary interface to the Teslemetry service. It shows the Tesla products Teslemetry has access to, and is where you manage your subscription, command credits, connected applications, and access tokens.

teslemetry.com/console is a dashboard of cards. Each card summarises its current state with badges and opens a page with the full detail. The Product menu in the site header links to the same pages.

The first time you use the console, a short guided tour points out the cards you need to get started. You can skip it at any time.

Dashboard

• Status - The current operational status of Teslemetry services, linking to status.teslemetry.com.
• Tesla Account - The level of vehicle and energy access your scopes provide, and the region serving your account. Opens Tesla's consent page, where you can change or revoke what Teslemetry can do.
• Subscription - Whether your subscription is active, your billing cycle, and how many days until it renews, or Cancelled if it is not going to.
• Command Credits - How much of your monthly quota you have used, and your remaining extra credit balance.
• Applications and API - How many applications are connected, and how many access tokens exist.
• Utilities - Optional features that solve specific problems.

Your Tesla products appear below these cards. If something is missing, the My product is missing button asks Tesla for your product list again and reports what it found.

Vehicles

Each vehicle you have access to in your Tesla account is shown with its image, name, and VIN. Badges show:

• Whether the vehicle is Online, Asleep, or Offline
• The current battery level
• No Key, when the Teslemetry virtual key is not installed
• Streaming Disabled, when the vehicle's third-party data streaming toggle is off
• No Subscription, when the vehicle is not included in your subscription. These cards cannot be opened.

Energy Sites

Each energy site is shown with its name and site ID. Badges show up to two live values, in priority order: battery level, solar output, battery power, grid import or export, and wall connector state. Sites not included in your subscription show No Subscription and cannot be opened.

Subscription

Every user is required to have a Teslemetry subscription, however vehicle and energy site access can be modified as required.

Without an active subscription, the page shows Start New Subscription alongside current pricing:

• Billing Cycle - Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly.
• Product access - A switch for each vehicle and energy site to include in the subscription. At least one is required.
• Price preview - The total for your selection, including tax. New customers start with a 7 day free trial.
• Checkout - Sends you to checkout to complete the subscription.

With an active subscription, Details shows the status, billing cycle, next renewal or expiry date, and the number of vehicles and energy sites you are paying for, along with:

• Change Payment Method - Sends you to checkout to update your payment details.
• Cancel - Prevents your subscription from renewing.
• Undo Cancel - Removes a scheduled cancellation.

Modify lets you change the subscription in place. You can increase the billing cycle (it cannot be decreased) and switch product access on or off. The prorated and recurring costs update as you make changes, and Approve Changes applies them.

Command Credits

Command credits are used to run commands, wake up your vehicle, and poll for legacy vehicle data. An active subscription is required.

There are two credit pools, spent in order. Each subscribed vehicle or energy site includes a monthly quota that resets on your subscription's billing date: 500 credits per product line on an active paid subscription, or 125 credits per product line while trialing. Once a product line's monthly quota is exhausted, further usage draws from your purchased balance instead - credits you have bought separately, which never expire and carry over unused across resets.

Balance shows how much of your monthly quota you have used and when it resets, followed by your purchased balance and the date and size of your last topup. Subscriptions created before monthly credits existed see a prompt to move to the new pricing instead of a quota.

Purchase buys extra credits in blocks of 2,000, with the total shown before you commit. Auto Topup adds 2,000 credits automatically whenever your balance drops below 25.

28-Day Usage graphs your daily credit usage split by wake, vehicle data, and command. View Full History opens the complete command history, listing the timestamp, command, credits charged, vehicle, and the source that sent it.

Applications and API

Applications

Applications you have authorised to access your Teslemetry account, such as Home Assistant, Homey, and AI assistants. Each entry uses the application's registered name and logo where available, and shows when it was last seen. Remove disconnects it.

Access Tokens

An access token is required to make API and SSE calls to Teslemetry, as they uniquely and securely identify your account. You can create up to 10 access tokens and remove them at any time; both take effect immediately. Selecting a token copies it to your clipboard, and a newly created token is copied automatically.

Utilities

Features that solve specific problems, each labelled with its maturity:

• Tint.ai Insurance - Connect your vehicles and share data with Tint.
• Tariff Automation (beta) - Sync wholesale electricity prices to your Powerwall from a supported provider: Amber (Australia) or GloBird (QLD, NSW, VIC, SA).
• Streaming Overlay - Build OBS overlays for livestreams.
• Rental Fleet Management - Manage vehicles used as a rental fleet.

Vehicle Dashboard

Selecting a vehicle opens its dashboard, which requires an active subscription with access to that vehicle. If your subscription or vehicle access changes while the page is open, the console returns you to the main dashboard.

Alerts appear at the top of the page when something is blocking access:

• Virtual Key Required - Shows a QR code to install the Teslemetry virtual key, and a Check Again button once you have.
• Streaming Toggle Required - The vehicle needs Settings > Safety > Allow Third-Party App Data Streaming enabled.
• Waiting for Vehicle Status - Teslemetry has not received fleet status for this vehicle yet, which can happen shortly after logging in.

Vehicles streaming Fleet Telemetry show a Telemetry Configuration card and a Webhooks card, followed by live data cards and a location map. Legacy vehicles that Teslemetry polls show the Webhooks card, the same data cards, and the map, but have no telemetry configuration.

Data cards cover the vehicle state, software version, odometer, connectivity, battery level, estimated range, charge limit, time to full, charging, speed, lock status, sentry mode, inside and outside temperature, climate, and tire pressures. A card only appears when the value is available, so a streaming vehicle only shows cards for the fields in its telemetry configuration. The location map requires the vehicle location scope.

Vehicle commands, such as wake, lock, sentry, climate, charging, and charge limit controls, use command credits. The first command you send asks you to confirm this. If a command is still pending after a few seconds, the console shows a "Waking your vehicle" notice while Teslemetry waits for an asleep vehicle to come online.

Telemetry Configuration

The Telemetry Configuration card shows how many fields the vehicle is streaming, or Disconnected. It opens the field configuration for that vehicle, listing each configured field with the firmware version it requires and its minimum interval. Changes save automatically, and Teslemetry warns you if a configuration has not reached the vehicle yet.

• Advanced - Adds the resend interval and minimum change columns.
• Cache - Whether Teslemetry retains the most recent value of each field for this vehicle. Turning it off clears the stored values.
• Remove All Fields - Clears the configuration without disconnecting.
• Disconnect - Stops Fleet Telemetry for this vehicle entirely.

Webhooks

The Webhooks card shows how many webhooks are configured for the vehicle and opens the webhook list. Each webhook has a URL, an optional authorization header, a format (Tesla, Teslemetry, or Splunk HEC), certificate verification, and an enabled switch.

The Health column reports delivery health: Healthy with the time of the last delivery, Failing with the time the failures started, or Disabled if repeated failures caused Teslemetry to turn the webhook off. URLs that cannot receive deliveries, such as private addresses, are rejected when you add them.

Removing a webhook here also disconnects that vehicle from Tint.

Energy Site Dashboard

Selecting an energy site opens its dashboard, which requires an active subscription with access to that site. If your subscription or site access changes while the page is open, the console returns you to the main dashboard.

Site Info and Live Status at the top of the page run the matching API query and show the raw response.

The cards below reflect the equipment installed at the site, and update live:

• Operating Mode - Time-Based, Self-Powered, or Backup.
• Backup Reserve - The reserve percentage, adjustable in 5% steps up to 80%, then 100%.
• Battery Level, Battery Power, Solar, Grid, and Home - Current level and power flow.
• Grid Status and Island Status - Whether the site is connected to the grid.
• Storm Watch, Grid Charging, and Allow Export - Powerwall settings you can change here.
• Wall Connector - The power being delivered, or Disconnected.

Powerwall owners can also pair Teslemetry directly with their Powerwall for advanced access at /console/energy/{site}/setup. Pairing requires physical access to the Powerwall.

Deleting your account

You can delete your Teslemetry account and data at teslemetry.com/delete, which explains the process before anything is removed.
